Sequoia app — project overview

App concept / Connecting local nightlife and its community.

01 / THE BRIEF

Turn a lively destination into a connected community.

The Sequoia Terme brief described a resort with many clubs but limited ways to keep visitors involved. The concept asks how a simple mobile experience could help people stay connected to venues and events.

The work follows a design-thinking process, from understanding people and defining the problem through ideation, prototyping and testing.

THE DESIGN PRINCIPLE

Find a place.
Discover an event.
Stay connected.

02 / DESIGN DECISIONS

From the problem to the experience.

01

Start with people

Personas and research materials frame the need for timely event information and social connections.

02

Make the journey immediate

The app concept prioritises simple navigation between venues, events and community features.

03

Work through the experience

Process boards document the move from the initial problem towards an interface proposal.

03 / FROM RESEARCH TO INTERFACE

Inside the process.

Original research and design boards from the case study.
